Managing
The Davis-Shai House is owned by the City of Heath and managed by the Heath Community Arts Council, the City's premier not-for-profit arts organization. The facility is operated and maintained for the benefit of Licking County and offers a thriving events calendar that features over 70 cultural programs each year. Programs ranging from Victorian teas to indoor and outdoor dinner theater and musical performances to cooking and decorating classes and art exhibits provide excitement and entertainment for people from all walks of life.

Since its creation in 2000 as a 501 (c) (3) organization, the Heath Community Arts Council has held true to its mission to foster community enrichment through cultivation of the arts:

  • By managing the Davis-Shai House as an elegant first-class facility for the arts;
  • By preserving and promoting the historic significance of Licking County through education and entertainment; and
  • By providing quality leisure opportunities that inspire the imagination and refresh the spirit of people.
